Casagrand founder and Managing Director Arun Mn was honored with the Self-Made Real Estate Entrepreneur of the Year Award during the India Real Estate Leadership Conclave & Excellence Awards 2026, hosted by Hurun India in partnership with Grohe. Held in Mumbai, the event marked the return of the flagship pan-India conclave, bringing together real estate entrepreneurs, developers and other industry stakeholders from across the country.
The honour recognises Mn’s journey that began with a modest 12-apartment residential project in Chennai back in 2003. From that initial venture, he expanded the business into a multi-market real estate enterprise spanning more than 88 million sq. ft across markets including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Pune and Dubai.
Today the developer oversees more than 180 projects that together cover over 88 million square feet of built-up area. These developments span key cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Pune and even extend to Dubai. The firm’s portfolio includes apartments, villas, high-rise residencies, floor villas and large-scale residential communities.
Among its flagship communities are the 41-acre Casagrand Highcity and the 40-acre Casagrand Suncity.
Over two decades the group has expanded beyond its Chennai base while adapting to changing market conditions and heightened competition. This adaptability has helped it sustain growth even as the broader real-estate environment evolved.
The recognition from Hurun India highlights the entrepreneurial vision and persistence behind the firm’s rise. Mn’s strategy has consistently focused on the mid-segment housing market, emphasizing quality construction and affordable pricing.
His philosophy centres on creating homes that enable buyers to improve their lifestyles and obtain solid value for their investment. This focus on value creation has become a defining element of his business narrative.
The 2026 awards also marked a decade of collaboration between Hurun India and Grohe in celebrating leadership and achievement within Indian real estate.
